Bought a 1990 TC last year with a top mechanism that would not work electrically. When I tore into it, I found a relay that was badly rusted so I replaced it and it worked for a while. Now it's dead again. This is a fairly complex system, but I'm not afraid to work on it if I had a schematic diagram. The service manual treats it like something you'd replace as a whole unit, so there's no specifics on it's internals or operation. I've been using the manual latch but I'd sure like to get this fixed. Does anyone know where I can get a schematic/wiring diagram of this puppy? Better yet, is there a chronic problem that someone can point out? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
