Hello All, here's my problem...When starting first time each day the oil pressure pegs! When warm it drops to about half. After driving awhile and stopping somewhere, restarting sometimes no oil pressure, It loses prime. Prime it and you get just 1/4th the pressure you had at start. I took off the pump and noticed the lock washers were busted, maybe the pump body was'nt sealing? That would account for the prime loss, air leaking in past the gasket.
It does have some cracks, along the outside where the studs go through, but I don't think it's leaking through them. This would be a hard piece to make, I'm hoping I don't need one. Any advice from the Pro's??? Thanx in advance Art
