Some of our region members wanted to see where I published our region newsletter, the Harford Horn. So in the next issue I am including a photograph I took of "Central Command"..... the area of my little office at home where every four weeks, every aspect of the newsletter is done...from the initial typing of an idea... the printing of finished pages (roughly 900 pages per month)... assembling.... folding.... labeling... and afixing postage for mailing takes place. In the attached photo, pages of the January 2003 issue was in the process of printing while other pages are being edited on the screen (left computer) and finished pages were being folded. I use the computer to the right primarily for development of our region website.
Do any of the other AACA editors have any pics of their own "Command Central" to share?
I just thought it would be fun to see the different places that AACA editors spend so much time every month while doing their publishing magic.

Bruce, You sure you're working on a newsletter in an area that clean? I'm embarrassed to show my mess in progress. I've got 2 pages compiled for my Jan-Feb issue. Hope to have it finished by Monday latest. Been off too long, having trouble getting back in the groove. Wayne

Central Command?? NOooooooooo!! They're those nasty people from McDill AFB that sent my unit to a 8 month all expenses paid tour of the middle east. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> Choose another command, they're friendlier. <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Bruce, You have a better set up than I had in the 10 years and 2 newsletters I produced.

OK, here's why I say that my job is a big one and it takes up so much of my free time to print The Rambler .

The last of the special built pedal cars will be going up for sale at the RM Auctions in Scottsdale in January. Built by the renown restorer Fran Roxas, this "Dusey" is truly is another work of art.
