As follow up to my earlier postings....

Michigan bill 4007 was SIGNED by the exiting Republican gov. John Engler.

Effective 7/1/03, the MCCA surcharge (currently $75/car) on "historic vehicles" is assessed at 20% of the normal car fee.

(The original bill, as introduced, would have EXEMPTED collector cars from this fee. The revised version that was signed into law was slightly watered down.)
