I am need of a pair of headlights for the following vehicle. I know there are 2 types drum and bullet shaped like a Model T.I do not know which type is correct for this vehicle and year. I have a 1924 Dodge/Graham Obenchain Boyer Fire engine. It has a 158" wheelbase. The rear end has stamped Graham Brothers. The engine number is A-282190.Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Kevin

Kev -
Headlights for the DB cars changed from the teacup shape to the drum shape with the intro of the 24s at mid year 1923. The DB light trucks had the same headlights because they were essentially commercial cars, on the same chassis as cars.
In 1924, I believe Graham Brothers was still independent from DB and had their own chassis, sheet metal and electrical components, like headlights. DB was selling Graham engines and also had a co-marketing relationship through DB dealers. To verify what headlights might have been used in 1924 I need to look at some background literature, which may take a few days. FYI, in later years when DB took over Graham's heavy duty trucks it seems that the headlights did not correspond with what was being used on the cars. Another thought, it may be that the fire engine body/equipment builder used their own spec headlights.
