The car is dated by the engine serial number. When the engine was put on
the frame, the frame was stamped with the engine number. Go to the follow-
ing website: www.mafca.com, click on references, and scroll down. You will
find several articles dealing with body identification, plant production,
engine numbers. Check these out and this should help you determine what
month your coupe was make in.

The 28 and 29 Model A's had the date stamped on the firewall. The 30 and 31 did not.
