Carl,
Why do you want the neopreme?
I rebuilt the engine in my 1955 Buick, a 322 V-8. I originaly used the neopreme rear seal. It leaked badly. So I changed it, figuring maybe I did not get the first seal in just right.
No luck, same leak. I then replaced it with the rope seal, and no leaks. (At least from the rear main!)
The Dynaflow is another story.
It looked like the surface on the block side of the seal was not exactly smooth, and the rope seal had the ability to soak in the oil and expand and fill the voids, and prevent the leaking.
That is why I am asking why you want the neopreme. You may just need to replace your rear mail seal. Since I had problems with the neopreme, you may want to use the rope.
Assuming your block is like mine.
Scott Mich OCA # 3947
BCA #6619
Assistant Director
Chicagoland Chapter
Buick Club of America
1959 Olds SS-88
1955 Buick 76-C Roadmaster Conv.
