Randy: do you have any significant amp drain on your system? I for instance, have a modern 400W stereo installed (only play it loud occasionally), but it will still draw amps more than the stock setup.

Craig, no, I'm all stock - it started making a noise about 5 days ago and I looked at it and "sounded" it with a short broom handle, but the noise was intermittent - then last night it quit. I mounted my spare gen. and took the bad one and its regulator over to the shop I deal with. He'll check it out and let me know.

Ran about a 40 mile circuit - people gawking and not watching where they're going. Police sitting behind me at a redlight trying to figure out what "The Four Hundred" was. I need a package-tray mounted camera to catch these moments. Need to adjust the kickdown forward a bit - too quick going into kickdown. Been that way since we put engine back in. Nice ride.
