I’m with Ronnie on this… Too rich in fuel or oil. Could be from lots of very short trips not allowing things to get to operating temp or bad ox-sensor, also could be engine oil or trans fluid, but definitely too rich. KennyV.

Did you record the Thieft Proof number? That is the large embossed number on the firewall. All the other numbers can be removed or changed, but this one is pretty much going to stay the same no matter what happens to the car. Every Packard owner sho

Just to update this, I did replace the rear speakers in the end. The improvement wasn't close to as dramatic as when replacing the door speakers, but it did help a bit.
