Harry, Check this out: http://www.bobsautomobilia.com/ I've never dealt with them but I thought they just handled Buick parts. They are highly recommended on the BCA forums.

The Buick Club figures are the best barometer of numbers restored. You can probably at least triple that for total number left. I am not sure there are other registrys available to follow numbers.

The way I understand his original post is that he has a large collection of parts, and it was his plan to replicate the truck. I don't think he's saying he has the original.

I've had success using small needle nose pliers held in such a way that you maintain outward pressure in opposite corners of the inverted nut as you turn it. Comes right out.

Without finding Nigel Trow's book to compare, my guess would be Augusta, too. They had a small narrow angle V4, and though they had a limited top speed below 70, the performance up to that and the handling were exceptional. Tazio Nuvolari owned one

Dont tow anything with that car! My aunt's parent used to haul a stupid horse trailer with my Mark V, lucky I got the car in decent condition after that! You never know when a car that is 40 years old will bust a gasket or piston with all that stress
