Same story at www.hymanltd.com. All you need to do is review R & M's auction results over the past 2 years. You will see the same cars, albeit with a higher price.

I just sold five of them to Chris Harrel in Yardley, PA. I did not sell them cheap and Chris is not going to turn them over cheap. Call him and see if he still has them.

As I understand it they switched "somewhere around then". It really doesn't matter which way it is as it will work fine either way, but the 24 "should" be positive ground to be correct. Late 22-early 23 is probably correct either

Look for three small digits stamped in a triangle shape. The single lower number is the last number of the year. This is the first reply from V8buick.com

My 38-39 Packard shop manual shows the sender to work on the twin coil setup as described earlier and the sender is just a variable resistor to ground. I don't know what the range of the resistor is.

I have used an ohm meter on the sending unit and it does read like you said 20 ohms full and 120 empty, and the fuel guage is the Stewert Warner type. both guage and sending unit are grounded when testing. Maybe I just have a bad NOS guage.. I will t

Are you grounding the gauge case as well as sending unit? I believe 41 used opposing magnet S-W type units where needle is balanced between 2 electromagnets. The battery supplies both coils where there is a more or less constant magnetic field on on

I dunno, guys. I have a late '22 touring car, with the high cowl like a '23, and it has the horn button on the steering wheel. I also have the original instruction manual that came with the car, which shows the electrical system as negative ground.

From underneath, the Riviera, Toronado, Seville, Eldorado, and Reatta are pretty much the same. I just put a gas tank in a Reatta that we salvaged from a Eldorado. When new, the different divisions, "tuned" the bushings for their car. W

Only other thing I thought of is to make sure your choke is not staying on too long. Any black residue on the exhause or black smoke means its too rich.

Have you tried hooking an ohm meter up to the sender and moving the arm though its range. You should see a increase when the arm moves down. I have an old sender that reads around 20 ohms when the tank would be full and about 120 ohms when the tank s
