BuickCrazy
How is the Riviera roof logo on a 1970 vinyl top attached; how would you go about removing it without breaking it; and then re-attach it to new vinyl top? Thanks!
68RIVGS
Not sure about the '70 'Riviera' emblems. If they are similar to the '68/'69 'R' emblems, they are secured by two self-threading steel nuts that mount the 'R' emblems via two large studs on the emblem. These nuts can be accessed by removing the rear interior sail panels, and any other necessary parts. These mounting holes should be sealed when the emblems are re-attached, to prevent water leaks. The 'Riviera' emblem mounting info should be shown in the '70 Fisher Body Manual.Suggest you check that out first - maybe someone with a '70 manual can look up the mounting method for the 'Riviera' vinyl top emblems ?
