jimkf
A few weeks ago, someone was able to ID a steering wheel for me...now let's see if anyone can tell me what this lens fits. It's Stimsonite and has the letters L A N molded into the face. The chrome band is not a separate piece, rather, it appears to have been applied using a vacuum metalizing process and is original to the item. Looks like it's a right side lens. I found another at a vendor's space at Hershey but he couldn't tell me what it fit either. It's NOS and measures 4 1/2 inches long, 3 1/2 inches wide and about 3 inches tall. Thanks for your help!http://my.stratos.net/~jimkf/lens3.JPG
drwatson
Maybe 1938 Hudson Terraplane? It used a tail lens something like this.
jimkf
Good guess...but not quite! I found a picture of a 38 Terraplane and the lens is similar, but not the same. I think the one I have does mount near the rear window, like the Hudson's, as opposed to lower on the body, but my lens does not fit this car. Anyone else care to hazard a guess??
