Guest Debby Soucia
I have to tell you the plate says 26 and some other numbers but I have no idea if that means any thing!
Dave@Moon
It's definitely not a 1926 Hupp. It does look vaguely like a 1921-1923 model, but the cowl looks to rounded to me to be a Hupp at all.
Guest De Soto Frank
I vote Dodge Bros. also. Not a '26; cowl and windshield are earlier in style...Also, I believe Hupps of this vintage had much taller radiator filler necks...Neat pic...back when mechanics were truly "grease monkeys"... Are they the Origional "DODGE BROTHERS"???I know it's NOT Manny, Moe, And Jack as I once met Two of the "PEP BOYS" in Philadelphia as a kid in the 1950s !!!FUN FACT:Did anyone know that the "PEP BOYS" origionally got their name from their first "In House" product that they packaged and sold nationwide to auto supply stores???It was called "PEP VALVE GRINDIND COMPOUND" used to give your car more PEP!!!The three guys who sold it soon became known as "THE PEP BOYS" !!!Their first store was here in Philadelphia!!!Does anyone have an old origional can of "PEP VALVE GRINDING COMPOUND"???
