Guest Debby Soucia
Could it be a 1973 Plymouth Grand Fury?Thats our guess.Deby
Mike Dube
I think we are on the right track with a 70's vintage Australian Mopar. While the rear end and the headlights do smack of '73 Fury, in side view (which might be distorted) the car looks too short to be the same wb as an American Fury. muttley
Wolf Creek is a recent movie set in Australia delayed because of the Peter Falconio bacpacker trial. It is a violent backpackers picked up by nutter story. Need strong stomach to view. The car is the most interesting bit ! Further pic attached. 1937hd45
Thank you Muttlet, sounds like it ranks right down there with the sheep herding broken mountain bike movie.
Guest aussie610
Maopar???? bzzzzzGM. It is a holden HQ/HZ statesman, about mid 70's (Not really good at this modern stuff). This was the large GM car over here. Probably about the size of an impalla, was top of the line for GM.
Manuel
Yep, thats a Holden Statesman, about 1972-4. Holden is the GM subsidary in Oz.They were the top model & came with Holden V8s & Chevvie small blocks.Hope this helps.Manuel in Oz

Guest aussie610
Close but no cigar, that would be the kingswood, hat was your base model taxi mobile. The statesman use the same basic mechanicals, (Even the floorpan I think) but was made up as the top of the line limo stile, was used as a govt car for quite some time, I will see what I can dig up

Tom88
It looks like I’m a few years late to this one - but this car used to be my dad’s! It’s an old Holden Kingswood.
Ozstatman
Don't think it's a Kingswood. More likely a Statesman with those taillights.
Manuel
Definitely a Statesman.
