Starting trouble

It sounds like it could be the idle air control motor. If the motor does not reset (open) properly, the engine would start hard and stall until warm. (Can you keep it running by holding your foot on the gas, but if you remove your foot it stalls?) It would probably run OK once warm, but act up again when cold. Cold in this sense is like overnight. Does this sound familiar or does it stall and stumble all the time?

Ah grasshopper.....<P>There is no simple question when delving into the abnormalities of a computer controlled internal combustion engine.<P><BR>Have you looked into slaughtering a chicken or two??
