Guest Posted October 6, 2000 Share Posted October 6, 2000 hi there<BR>i have a 1988 reatta, with a weird problem, when i put the car in gear and start driving, the dash lites go on and off with the audible chimes going on and off in conjunction, along with the heating-a/c blower. i pull e026 history, e039 history, and e047 history...is it my bcm or something grounding out. i hope someone can give me a hand i can't drive the with speedo going on and off...thanking you in advance ron Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

All of the codes you mentioned were ECM codes rather than BCM codes:<P>EO26-QDM Circuit problem<BR>EO39-TCC Circuit<BR>EO39-BCM-ECM Communication Problem<P>You can check the codes against the Diagnostic Mode manual here:<BR> <A HREF="http://www.geocities.com/captaincelt/ReattaDiagnostics/page04.jpg" TARGET=_blank>http://www.geocities.com/captaincelt/ReattaDiagnostics/page04.jpg</A> <P>While I don't have a pat solution, my reccomendation is to start by checking out both the ECM and the BCM visually.
