Just heard another horror story about reatta repairs!
A lady from Atlanta called me about purchasing my 89.Later in the conversation she revealed she had an 89 at present but it was broke.
Story:1st problem interior lights(dash,intensity...).Buick dealer replaced several parts under dash($300).....,ruined dash in several places, had dash repaired, looks terrible and as she drove off noticed lights still the same. They told her to call for another appointment.....Later when she called back they had gone out of business.
2nd Upon returning from car wash alone she noticed passenger seat was crooked and lower on 1 side. They had broken seat, denied responsibility.Deal $125 to fix.
3rd Anti lock brake on for several months, then red light also and a little power brake for 1 application then hard pedal and can't stop.
Took to another Buick dealer. No parts available and if there were it would cost $2500.She didn't remember what part but said pump runs all the time, red and yellow light on and off..........wanted another car cause she loved 89!
You'all better jump on the two topics entitled "Brake Problems" and "Results of Brake Tests" in this forum unless you have 9 lives and an xtra $2500 laying around.
