Guest Posted August 2, 2000 Share Posted August 2, 2000 I've had concerns about the brakes on my car ever since I got it. Medium-to-hard braking resulted in swerving. Finally, the front brakes were actually locking up after the car sat for a while. I traced the problem, with the help of this bulletin board, to bad rubber brake lines-the ones that make the final connection to the calipers. I replaced them and the brakes have never been better.
