Do you have any Stutz fire engines and/or parts? Rodger Birchfield, Indianapolis Fire Department <img src="/ubbthreads/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

The Glenwood Volunteer Fire Department has a

1919 Stutz. We need the bolt inside the carburetor

that runs the float or an entire carburetor.

We also need a magneto.

Do you have anything like this?

Do you know who does?

We are looking to make this the oldest

commissioned fire truck in the nation!!

Not sure if you were replying to me or not. I'm a rookie on the site!! The

GVFD is located in Southwest Iowa (Glenwood, Iowa) roughly 50 miles North of Missouri along the Missouri river. We need a carburetor/parts.

Thank You.

Don't get too excited.

A post by a "Guest" who can't even be bothered to become a free member and leaves no details on the cars available?

Somehow, I'm not sure whether the cars exist.

It sounds a bit fishy....let's be honest, there are not that many Stutzes out there for an unknown person to have a hoard of them.

Feel free to prove me wrong.

Even more than that is the fact that this thread is 9 years old. The cars in question may have changed hands a few times in that period. I actually like keeping informational threads alive for years, but for-sale ones are stale as soon as the car is sold.
