I was convinced it wasn't a Studebaker because the rear hubcaps were ill-defined, and look like cones. The front ones are vaguely visible  - have a 'star-like' logo - and could be Studebaker. I think your sample car is a bit earlier than 1924 and our mystery car might also be a Studebaker - the first model of Big Six, first seen in late 1918. The photo is supposed to be 1918.
