The tire I recommend is ones that fit your rims. I am not being facetious. I have found that a 1924 Dodge can be found with 21 inch wood spokes 21 or 20 disk wheels. First measure the rims. Then you have your choice of brands. I have had good success with the brands that Coker carries. When you do purchase your new tires also by new inner tubes and flaps. Do not forget the flaps. The flaps protect the inner tube from being pinched by relative movement of the split rim while driving.

Have fun and I hope this helps.

I am just in the process of replacing my tires on my Canadian-Dodge brothers Standard Touring car, 1924. I have been working with Coker Tire out of Chattanooga, TN. I screwed up on my first attempt when I ordered a Goodrich 32 X 4.5 blackwall with a 23 inch-inside diameter. I really needed the same tire in a 32 X 4 version with a 24 inch-inside diameter. I am waiting for the correct tires to arrive soon. My DB instruction manual states four alternative brands that were used back then; United States Tire Co., Republic Rubber Co., Firestone and B.F. Goodrich. My Candadian touring came with a set of Trans Canada tires-32 X 4. Obviously, most of the manufacturerers do not exist today. I also noted that Coker had a Michelin option. Either the Michelin and the Goodrich tires are available in white wall or black wall.

The mounting of the tires on to the split rims is a [censored], unless you know someone with a 3-prong split rim tool. Good luck. Dally_Ho
