Is this a problem?

Question

Before I sign into the forums I see a lock with a red line through it in the address bar of my Firefox browser.  If I click on the lock a box drops down that tells me the connection is NOT secure (see photo). The lock goes away when I sign into the forum.  I just recently noticed this. Is anyone else seeing the lock in their browser address bar?   Just wondering of their might be some kind of security problem with the forums.

I reported a similar "Not Secure" Google Chrome warning to Peter Gariepy a while back. I don't know if it is a significant problem or not, but I still see that same warning.

This is common practice.  It’s only secure when it needs to be.  Example when you login or post.

Fyi.  The data behind the site is highly secure.

Thanks for the quick replies. It's good to know that me seeing the lock in the address bar and getting a warning is normal.  I was afraid there might be a problem on my end or with the forum software.
