here is post on this question from model t site, you may also have the 6 volt 12 volt situation.  look at motorcycle led headlight non sealed beam there are some 6 volt.  i was gonna put sealed beam led 6 volt in my packard but ran out of time and money this year.

Just replace the bulbs and make sure the contacts are good. ie. the earth or ground through the body of the car. Rust and paint are poor conductors.
