This 1965 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible is an extremely sharp example that has been owned by the current owner for about 15 years. 

 

   It appears to be largely original and well cared for example.  During the last 15 years, it has been cosmetically and mechanically maintained as needed. It has been seasonally and actively used and has never had an idle  spring, summer of all since being owned by its current caretaker.

 

    The body is extremely straight and solid. The doors, hood and deck lid fit the body with even gaps and margins. The body lines are  crisp and clear. You really begin to appreciate this car when you look underneath. The floor pans, seat pans, trunk pan, etc retain much of their original paint and are crisp and straight. Nothing is being hidden underneath this car.  The white paint is newer and presents extremely well with a solid and even gloss throughout. It shows off the long lines of this car extremely well. Looking up and down its long sides, you can tell this is a solid and straight car. The chrome and stainless trim appears to be mostly original and is extremely clean and well preserved.

 

   The complementing blue interior consists of what appear to be original seats which are in very good condition as are the door panels. The seats are tight and firm. The carpets and dash pad have been recently replaced. All of the glass is in very good condition and roll up and down smoothly. The white convertible top is a newer replacement and the power top assembly works rapidly and fits well.

 

   Under the hood, the engine compartment is clean and presentable. The engine starts easily, idles well, does not smoke or overheat, and makes loads of power. This car runs and drives great. The transmission is smooth. The steering and brakes are tight and responsive. This car goes down the highway with a smooth, stable and aggressive feel. It does not squeak, rattle or groan. The exhaust system has been recently replaced and the tires are in excellent condition. All of the systems and accessories work with the exception of the clock and dealer installed, air conditioner which will need to be rebuilt.

 

   This Bonneville convertible is ready to use and enjoy. It presents extremely well inside and out and looks right from all angles. It was always a good car and its still a good car. 

 

   It is being sold with a clear and current Michigan title. It is located near Ann Arbor, MI and the price is 29,500.00.
