sambrutay
I know these are like hens teeth to find. but i have no idea of value. All 7 pieces are there. NOS GM parts. I also picked up 2 83 Riviera convertibles. one is a parts car. the other needs a transmission but has title.
sambrutay
also some more parts. these are mostly used. the car was restored by a local gm dealer in the 90's. so these parts were removed very early.
rivgs
That whooshing sound you hear is every 79-85 owner sharply drawing in their breath while looking at the pictures.
sambrutay
I am trying to know what value is on all these as they will be for sale very soon. Waiting for the title to come back before offering cars for sale.
gungeey
A simple ebay listing will determine exact " to the penny" market valuation on a given day. Other than that, the value is usually less than you are willing to sell them for, and more than most buyers are willing to pay. Mathematically speaking: A=Sellers perceived worth B=Buyers "fair deal" subjective purchase price C= Actual Value* A+B/2=C *C is an approximation with a margin for error of 500% plus or minus Steve
John_S_in_Penna
The bumper fillers are reproduced for dozens of cars including the 1979-85 Rivieras. One supplier (of many) is Replica Plastics of Dothan, Alabama, phone (334) 792-1866. The originals, as many people know, get brittle and break. I wouldn't trust originals after all these years, even NOS versions that appear to be sound. Your other Riviera parts, however, should find happy buyers. All the best to you, and thanks for offering the parts.

telriv
What the Buick Farm sells as repros are an EXCELLENT choice over ALL the others that are available. Except for, maybe, these NOS ones. Tom T.

Seafoam65
If the nos bumper fillers have been stored in the dark indoors, they should last for quite some time
NC1968Riviera
My aunt has a set of what I believe to be plastic bumper fillers for 79-85 Riviera. They are currently advertised in The Riview. Her contact info is in the ad.

From what I've seen, even low-mileage cars that have been garaged for decades have brittle and soon-to-crack bumper fillers. Such cars have been in the dark indoors much of their lives. I have a '74 Cadillac Eldorado, owned and driven by one older woman, always garaged, with 20,000 miles, and with just such a brittle condition. I wish your observation was really the case for my car!
