Barney Eaton Posted September 5, 2018 Share Posted September 5, 2018 I found this drawing that may help understand the latch. The tonneau hinges arms are tubular. When you raise the tonneau to the most upright position it will go into the latch or catch with a little extra effort. The latch/catch is pictured on the right....it is basically a special broom holder.....the round hinge arm snap into the "C" shaped part and it holds the tonneau in the most upright position so the top will not hit it when raising and lowering the top.
