stakeside
I found the tank I have is a Steward Model 493 C. It has a 4 screw top while the others have a 8 screw top.The float in my tank is not repairable and I have purchased Steward model 216AF tank. Float is perfect and rebuild parts are available thru Meyers Parts . Thanks for all the input. This forum has been very helpful.

stakeside
There are two vacuum amplifiers shown. I believe the amplifier assists the vacuum during high fuel demand. One shown is for a Kingston tank and other is for a Steward tank. Do they both have the calibrated orifice? The Steward tank already has a check valve fitting that has an orifice the size of #60 drill or #18 wire and I do not have this valve. Does the Steward tank need the check valve if you use the amplifier with an orifice? What is a source for the amplifier or a check valve?
