Side Mount Mirrors

Does anyone know if someone took over Bernie Dewinter's reproduction side mount mirror business.

Is anyone out there reproducing them for Classics?

No one took over Bernie's business as far as I am aware (he ran his business from his basement workbench with very limited castings runs and ....). 

 

Rick Bloomquist was making nice mirrors though passed away a year or so ago. 

 

There was also a fellow in East Coast, though no longer recall his name

Perhaps the fellow on the East Coast that you were thinking of was Jay Fisher who made a huge array of various mirrors.  But he gave up the business some years back and to my knowledge no one picked up his tooling or operation.  I recently loaded a See-Rite sidemount mirror with clamping base for 33-34 Packard metal sidemount covers to American Arrow for reproduction, perhaps they have others as well.

Yes, made very nice mirrors - made me a set for a 31 Cadillac.
