rbk Posted July 31, 2018 Share Posted July 31, 2018 Wayne A lot of 1939 Studebakers were converted to sealed beam headlights as used in 1940. Are your headlights the originals? You can tell from the parking lights. If they are in the chrome headlight rim it is a 1940 conversion. Studebaker recommended the conversion and many dealers stocked the 1940 head lights. There was an aftermarket conversion kit also. Both were an easy bolt in conversion. Post a picture! I stock lenses for the original 1939 headlights and possibly rims and buckets.
