Traction Control Light on a 1995 Riviera

The TRACTION CONTROL along with the SERVICE ENGINE SOON light came on while driving down the road today with temps in the 80's and dry roads. Does anyone know where to start looking for a possible problem and a possible fix? The Riv has 135K on the clock.

I appreciate your time responding. Thanks.

Not sure about the service engine soon light as it could be several things but the traction control light came on in my former 97 and it was a bad wheel speed sensor.

Have a mechanic scan for service codes for both warnings to narrow down your issues.

I agree with Pat on the wheel speed sensor for the traction control issue, it is a fairly common problem for all years of the last generation Riviera.

Keep in mind, the '95 has OBD 1.5, not 2, so you need to be sure to find someone that will work on that system. Kind of outdated as of now but I would think there are shops out there that do still work on them.
