philipj
While trying to sort out some oil leaking and driveability problems with my 38 Century, I had to replace the fuel pump. Little did I know that the style AB pump used on the 36-39 original blocks will not work properly on a 1948 block since the boss in the block is different allowing oil to leak out no matter what you do... The short end of the story, I have a fuel pump available with about 4hrs of time in my vehicle that I just purchased from Kanter's Automotive, plus an almost identical core that came with my vehicle originally. Mounting bolts are 3/8" in diameter. They can be yours for $100.00 plus shipping... Thank you.
