New wheels for 1964 buick riviera

Hello there, 

Looking to buy new wheels for my 1964 Buick Riviera 

What is the maximum size i can go with and what is the best supreme size you recommend? 

 

I have the wheel cab cover but unfortunately i dont have the factory steel wheel

Alooyz, I have 2 original steel wheels for a 63 Riviera. I know you said 64, but I’ll double check to make sure mine will fit your  64.

63 and 64 wheels are the same as far as bolt pattern and center hole.  But they did come in two widths - 5-1/2" and 6".

You might try checking out Instagram and search tag #buickriviera. Contact some of the 63-64 Riviera car owners who have Supremes on their cars to get their recommendations about wheel sizes.

I forgot to add, check the backspacing on a stock wheel , that will aid a great deal

Thank you all for sharing these informations. 

After few researchs one of the Riviera owners says that 15inch supremes with 7inch width with standard offset will fit without any modifications 

 

Still looking for more informations

Do you know what the"standard" backspacing is? I`ve been down this road before and always get screwed up somehow. I want t run standard width tires because I have them on my road wheels. All I want is a "these will fit" moment ha ha
