Reaper1 Posted May 15, 2018 Share Posted May 15, 2018 So last night I was putting the head back on my engine and got to the part of reinstalling the cams. I was using the 1989 FSM and in the section for this it omits the torque spec! It is NOWHERE in the 1989 manual! Luckily, I also have a 1990 manual and the error was fixed there. So, for people that need to know, the torque spec is: 27Nm or 240inlb or 20ftlb Tighten from the middle of the head to the outside, just like doing head bolts. I hope this helps someone!
