69 Riv Cowl Screen?

Hi all, question. What holds in the cowl screens on a 69 Riv?  Does it clip in lioke a Skylark or does it a trim panel goes over it? Thanks!

On second generation '68 -'70 Riviera - the upper portion of the cowl screen was secured under the lower windshield molding which is fastened with sheet metal screws.

The lower potion of the screen was held in place with spring steel clips that also secured the rear rubber hood cowl seal .

Restoration Specialty and Supply Co. used to have a clip that was close but not exact.  Check out their website.  Not sure about the weatherstrip though.  There are several weatherstrip manufacturers/retailers out there that may be able to help.

It is not being reproduced so used will be your only option.  I haven’t seen any NOS come up for sale.

It is very similar to common window/door screen.  You might be able to get some at a hardware store and cut it to fit if you can’t find used pieces.
