pcolleary
Hi, I just got a large collection of chrome. Any ideas on year or application? Thanks in advance.
Realsteeljack
As it says on the inside Studebaker 1949. Could be from a Champion.

Studemax
Definitely not '49 Champion. Of course - Studebaker also used the hood ornaments from '49 Champions on '57 Transtar pickups, too. Good luck in the search.

Scott1963
I think it is a fender ornament for a 47-49 Studebaker. The one I had was stamped 7719 SM.
drwatson
This 1947 Studebaker accessories brochure pg shows what looks like an optional ornament mounted on the side of a Champion fender. It mentions an "amber reflector".
