stall
I need to remove the aerial on my 1990 Reatta. Where can you buy the spanner wrench needed to remove the chrome nut on the top of the fender. Thanks , Murray
NCReatta
I usually use a flat head screwdriver in the notches and tap it with a hammer to turn it. Or you can grab it with a pair of pliers. It's a pretty robust piece and is hard to really damage.
D-a-n-i-e-l
I bought one at car quest a few years ago.
DAVES89
Treat it like the chrome pipe in your shower. Wrap it with masking or electrical tape and then remove with a pliers. Buick used excellent chrome so you should be good. I am using Buick LeSabre 7 spoke rims on two of my Reattas and I use Bleachwhite on the wheels when I clean my tires. I am very impressed by how the chrome holds up.
Barney Eaton
needle nose pliers will usually fit into the notches (point the pliers down....not from the side) Then hold the ends of the pliers in the notch with one hand and turn the pliers with the other. Below is the tool I made from 3/4 inch electrical conduit.
