Restorer32
Does anyone here have reservations at the Auburn Inn next Thurs-Sat? If so is your room on the first floor? And if so would you be willing to trade your first floor room for my second floor room? I assumed the Auburn Inn would have an elevator. Sadly it doesn't and I have extreme difficulty negotiating stairs. I called the Inn and they are fully booked.
Peter J.Heizmann
Hi, Jeff. Hope someone comes forward to assist you. (In my 45 years of business travel prior to retiring I found most motels do not require elevators for a 2-floors. Beyond 2 floors they are required by law or building codes.) Peter J. real61ss
You might try the LaQuita in Fort Wayne, that's where a lot of us stay, they have an elevator.
Restorer32
Can't change motels. Our customer booked the rooms months ago and he wants us to stay in the host motel for the Nash Club. I guess I can always sleep in the lobby. I can do the stairs if absolutely necessary but it sure isn't fun.
Rooney3100
I would gladly trade rooms with you if I was on the lower floor but I'm staying at the Super 8 in Auburn on those day's.....STEVE M Edited May 3, 2018 by Rooney3100 (see edit history)
