droid5977
I installed an ABS pump motor in my '90 today and now it doesn't want to build up pressure. I can hear the motor running and I'm trying to purge the air, but nothing is happening. Can anyone help me? Ronnie
I guess you have tried using Jim Finn's technique for purge air from the pump? How To Purge Air From The Brake Pump This has been a problem for others in the past. I've not experienced it myself. If I did I think I would try using my hand vacuum pump to see if I could pull air out of the system though the caliper bleed valve screws hoping that it would pull fluid in at the same time. I wouldn't run the pump continuously. Just turn it on a minute or so at at time to avoid damaging the pump. I don't know that it would work but that is all the help I can offer. jonlabree
If I were you, I would do it the Jim Finn recommended.
D-a-n-i-e-l
I would swap to the 91 system. Unless you are planning on going to shows.
