Marion & I agree--the Tucson Region did an outstanding job planning and hosting the meet!  We went to the Tucson Auto Museum Thursday afternoon and enjoyed it very much--the owner, Wayne Gould, has a great collection and we appreciate it him sharing it with all of us.  Afterwards we caught a local cruise-in.  On Friday morning we visited the Franklin Auto Museum along with Chester Robertson, Ralph Towner, and Fred Trusty and received a guided tour of the museum--a fantastic collection with an interesting history behind it and almost every car in it.  Friday night brought some of the best Mexican food we've ever had (at El Charro's).  The Meet on Saturday, although small, had an eclectic variety of beautiful cars--from a 1909 EMF to a 1938 MG VA Tickford to a 1963 Pontiac X400 prototype to a 1984 Zimmer, with a bunch of other gorgeous classics and muscle cars in between.  On Sunday we drove through the Saguaro National Park.  Kudos to the Tucson Region!  We can't wait to return for the next meet they host--we won't miss it and recommend you don't either.

Here are some additional photos for those who couldn't attend the meet.

It was my pleasure to help you out on the parts to save your 1940.

Did I mention I too have a  1942 180 Formal sedan Basket Case I purchase back in 1993. I did not have the Heart to pull the engine out for my 42 Limo, and part it out.  It a car that needs restoring one day. I have been collect miscellaneous part for it for over 25 years, and the car came with a lot of pieces, disassembled.  This car is a formal sedan and  need to recreated one day.
