Mitchell20
I am trying to help my Dad remove the headlight cover on his 1920 F40 Michell Touring to change light bulbs and I can't find the secret. Is there anyone on the forum that is a Mitchell car owner that might be able to help? There is a what appears to be a brass screw at the bottom but it will not budget. Before I twist it off I would like to see if there is someone that might provide some guidance. Thanks Ron Edited March 18, 2018 by Mitchell20 clarify (see edit history)
Spinneyhill
While waiting for expert advice, put some penetrating oil on the brass screw. 50-50 acetone and ATF is the best.
