AnaRamona
Hi, I'm having a problem with one hydraulic lifter. After an oil and filter change, and cleaning the lifter, it's still making noise. In my 69 430 engine, I have solid pushrods, and the hydraulic lifters seem to be the ones that fit the hollow pushrods. Do I need to buy lifters that fit the solid pushrods only, or can I still use the ones I have? I'm new at this so I have no idea. Thanks
telriv
You can use the more modern, the ones you have, since the pushrods are solid you don't have to worry about losing oil/pressure the pushrods will seal the holes. Tom T.
