Any ideas on the cars? The view from Mt Pleasant looks over what is now known as Southshore. It remained uninhabited until the late 1950s. Unfortunately it is very low lying and if there is a major tsunami the residents will not beable to get out.

Here's a curiosity ... if you look at the closeup of the 1911 Cadillac, you can see that the carb mixture dial has been pulled way out from the dash, with a bracket mounting it to the steering column.   It should be sitting almost flush to the dash.   This appears to be a period modification.  That  dial is quite hard to reach when you're driving, so someone came up with an improvement.      Peter
