1928 Northway engine & transmission

My father had what is to believe to be a 1928 Northway engine. He was a mechanic, and I remember moving this engine from house to house since 1965. It has been in dry storage in those garages since then. My mother is looking to sell the house and wishes to sell the engine. I am looking for any information possible. There is a picture attached. It looks as if it's an 8-cylinder engine with all the parts including the transmission.

Scott, You have a early V8  mid teens looks like a Cole  or Oakland. Have worked on a 1916 Oakland with a motor looking like that one
