trimacar
Question, Studebaker President wheels, are they 5 lug or 6 lug wheels? I'm thinking 18 and 19 inch wheels with lock rings, thus not drop center. thanks
Spinneyhill
The Hollander 1952 starts in 1932 so I'll tell you about those for guidance. The model 71 had 18" wires on 5/5.5". The model 91 had 18" wires on 5/6". The steel wheel options were the same sizes.
trimacar
OK thanks, that at least gets me started! You early Studebaker guys, was 5 lug the norm for late 20's and early 30's Studebakers? thanks!

As far as I know all wire wheel Studes of that era are too. There was a change around 1930 to wheels with the lugs inside the hubcap and I can only assume they are five lug as well. A quick Google image search shows the earlier ones with exposed lugs are all five lug.

Buffalowed Bill
Dave, Think Pierce when you are cross referencing, 19"-1931,18"-1932 and 17'-1933.
