Guest
I know where and when this was taken and all of the people. Just trying to confirm whose car it is. Thank you.
keiser31
Doesn't look like a Ford to me with that large rear axle pumpkin.
Guest
Thanks keiser31, now I have to try and remember the stories that I heard of who drove what. I should have notice the rear end myself, now I can blame it on old age as well as blonde.
1912Staver
Tire carrier looks like McLaughlin to me. Possibly a late teen's 4 with some sort of accessory rear bumper. Greg in Canada
Guest
Thanks 1912Staver, the man by himself in the second picture had a McLaughlin if I remember the stories correctly.
Brass is Best
Looks like a Buick so McLaughlin makes sense.
Guest
Thanks All. The man in the back, second from the right, in the flat cap was my Grandfather. He was 56 in that picture and his car, my Pontiac now was 5 years old. He was the last survivor of those in the picture. Should have listened to his stories closer before he died in 1969. I suppose that means we now are the older generation so we should "know".
