Friartuck
Has anyone ever tried to put model T era wood wheels on a model A? Are hub adapters available? I'm asking for a friend who has built a speedster and likes the look of wood wheels. Chris

Anyway, the wheels are aluminum painted to look like wood. They're custom-made but something similar probably is available aftermarket - just have to wood-grain them. That might be a better solution as I understand wood spokes require significant maintenance - dunno if they could be made to fit A hubs though. I prefer the look of wire wheels on a sedan like this, but wood might be OK on a speedster.
