Anyone watching Velocity?

Watching "How it's Made; Dream Cars". Bugatti gets its leather from the hides of a certain flock of cows that only live in certain mountains ( Alps I think).  Because there are no mosquitoes, flies, etc, the hides come through with a minimum of blemishes that, of course, must be avoided. Wow.

I guess, because Bugatti makes so few cars, they

can use just one favored supplier.

Mountain cows!  Just picture them on the mountaintops,

rocky, treeless and snow-drifted, jumping from crag to crag.

Living like mountain goats, I suppose---

I heard they only use bull hides so they don't have imperfections due to pregnancy stretch marks.

Some say Bugatti will be offering a limited "Coach Edition". The seating surfaces will be made from Butch Jones.

I've found nauga hides here in the KC area. Not as rare as I first thought. Used them to recover the seats in  my '57 Austin Healy 100-6.

Only the "hides." I didn't realize it was such a rare breed.  What really astounds me is the number of different colors they come in.  Must be one colorful environment from which they originate. I've never even seen a picture of one in its native habitat.
