70sWagoneers
My 1937 Buick Special has a sealed beam conversion and Im looking to replace all the original parts. Ive found a set of headlamp trim rings that says 1938, so Im wondering if 38 rings are the same or different than 37 rings? Thanks James C
MCHinson
Part numbers 920591 (left) and 920592 (right). Yes, they are the same for 1937 and 1938 Buicks.
Gary W
Hi James! My car also came with Sealed Beams. And I made the conversion to original. November 5, 2016........One year ago TODAY I drove her home. Sealed beams with eyelids! This is what I really wanted for the car. I ordered rings off eBay. They were terrible.... dented, rusted and expensive. So I sent them back. Called Dave Tachney for the ENTIRE set up to go original (All the guts needed) Here we are today. When mine were converted to sealed beams, all the guts were removed so I had to do a complete rebuild from the wires right on out. Click on the arrow in the upper right corner will take you to the headlamp rebuild. Maybe help you make a "parts list" for your headlamps. Good Luck!
