McMalcolm
I'm trying to put three images of a Fort Collins, CO filling station in date order. Unfortunately, there are no clues on the images. To make it tougher, two of the images are printed postcards and you can't really enlarge them very well. Below are the three images. I wonder if you can tell me the make and date of the car in the first image, which is really clear, and then, by using the gas pumps can you make a guess as to the age order of he three images? I've called them All States 1 - 3. Thanks, McMalcolm
keiser31
Looks like maybe a 1929 Nash in the first photo....
nzcarnerd
Going by clothing and hair styles possibly not much after 1929?
Curti
The gas pump next to the Nash is a Gilbert & Barker T76.
TerryB
In the last photo the pumps have been upgraded to electric. I would put that in the 1930s.
Fleek
If you look closely at the building, there has been an addition built on after pic #1was made and then electric pumps in #3 making it the newest. So I believe they are in correct order from oldest to newest.#1 Original building, #2 building with addition, #3 newest pumps.
Curti
The Business went from Conoco to Standard. I think T76 pump is the same in pix2. The two clock face pumps calculated gallons but not dollars. Probably mid 30's
